But this one my skin really enjoyed, and it gave me a lot of nourishment and glow. Yung Berg Timbuktu — Alla Vill Till Himmelen Men Ingen Vill Dö Timbuktu — Det Löser Sej Christina Milian — Call Me, Beep Me! This is the best cleansing oil I've tried so far.
The cheapest and best powder to keep my skin matte all dat. But still, this one I bought the first time I went to the states and that was in 2014, so I know for a fact that this is definitely expired.
OKBente - In the past I have been switching my night cream almost every time I needed a new one, but now I think I've found a favorite. I'll link the post where I wrote about it, if you want to read more in depth.
When it comes to social media I can admit that I am easily influenced by other people, and their opinions, especially when it somes to beauty products. Over the years there have been some products I've bought that I never would have bought if it weren't for the fact that they were hyped up so much on social media. With that said, there isn't many of these products that has really disappointed me tho, I've been rather pleased with all of them. Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette This one I bought about a year ago, I think it was the second time it came out, and I had heard so many good reviews of it so I just had to buy it! It's definitely become a favorite, I don't think I ever will regret buying this! The quality of this palette is amazing, the shadows are so buttery and blend like nothing else. The color combination is bomb, the perfect summer palette, Too Faced really did it with this one. Before the big hype of the Laura Mercier Loose Powder, I didn't even know that loose powder and baking was a thing. So after a while of hearing about this all over YouTube and Instagram, I finally decided to try it out. After I used it a couple of times i realized that my makeup stayed put for so much longer on my oily skin, and that my pores and texture were minimized. I would say that this product seriously changed my hole makeup game even tho its not my favorite anymore, since I've tried other ones. Benefit Porefessional Primer When primer first became a thing, this was the one everybody was talking about. It was everywhere, and all of the big influencers raved about it, and how you couldn't do your makeup without it. So of course, i bought it. When I first tried it out I was amazed over how small my pores looked and how flawless my skin seamed. But after a few hours of wearing this on my oily skin I noticed that my oils started peaking through and the foundation started to break apart.. I still use this tho, but only on occasions when I'm wearing my makeup for a few hours, and not the entire day. Would probably not repurchase this one, would rather buy a primer that suits my skin type better. So when I was out traveling one summer I decided to pick this up, and I was so exited to use it. But again, I have oily skin. This looks really good when I first apply it, but after the five hour mark it just breaks completely apart on my skin, all my oils just ruins it.. So I don't use this that much unfortunately. L'Oreal Paradise Mascara This one is a rather new product that got raved about on the Internet when it first launched. This was the mascara everybody was talking about, and I remember I was so upset with the fact that I couldn't get it right away. When I finally got a hold of it I was so excited, and for very good reason! This seriously became my new favorite mascara the second I tried it. It just gives my lashes so much volume and length, without clumping or smudging. Physisians Formula Butter Bronzer With this one I really understand the hype! This is seriously the prettiest bronzer I've ever used. This has the perfect color for my skin tone, not too grey, but not too orange either. In addition to that this blends like a dream, it doesn't matter if I put on too much, I can just blend it away, and that way it always looks flawless. Love All That Beauty These past months have been so hectic for me, I just finished my Bachelors degree so I've only been focusing on my exams lately. Now that I finally am done I just realized that I haven't posted a single post since April.. I had a lot of posts planned, but I had to prioritize my exams. Earlier this month I photographed my empties for April, but I never got around to actually posting them. So now, over a month to late, I finally was able to write this post, and I decided that I would include both my April and May empties, since I haven't had the time to post my April empties before. This one I've had in my skincare drawer for so long! I had totally forgot I had it. When I pulled it out and used it I must say I enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything special about it. Would rather purchase a Korean sheet mask instead. This is my go to nighttime cleanser. I use it every evening after I've removed my makeup. It has this thick and creamy consistency when you apply it, and then when I swirl it around on my face it foams up and gives my skin a really good cleanse. After rinsing it of, my skin feels so smooth and clean, without feeling dry. Really love this, it works so well with my skin, and doesn't make me break out or anything. It also works perfectly under my makeup, doesn't make it slide of or break it up. Botanicals Moroccan Rose Superfood Facial Oil. This facial oil I got in my LookFantastic Advent Calendar last year, but I didn't get around to using it until late March. I must say I really enjoyed it! I've never been a fan of facial oils in he past, mostly because I feel like my skin doesn't soak up the oil. But this one my skin really enjoyed, and it gave me a lot of nourishment and glow. I'm sure most of you have already heard of this, or have tried it yourself. It's become a cult classic, and I must say I understand why. It gives the skin a light exfoliate every time you use it without irritating the skin. It made my skin feel so soft, it unclogged my pores and gave me a wonderful glow. This overnight cream works wonders to calm down breakouts! I use this every time I get a pimple or some kind of breakout on my face, and when I wake up the next morning it is almost gone. This one is a life saver for days when I've forgotten to apply self-tanner the night before. This one I can apply in the mornings and go out the door. It has this beautiful golden color when I apply it, and it doesn't smell like self tanner, so I could get away with not rinsing it of. The best intimate area cleanser, it's a must have! Makes me feel so clean and fresh. My all time favorite deodorant. I simply can't be without it, it is the only deodorant that works for me. Makes me feel so fresh all day. It was about time that this one was empty! I've had this forever, like for years, and I use it at least twice a week. Really been enjoying it, but now I'm really eager to try a new heat protecter. Just a basic nailpolish remover, it removed all of my different nailpolish without any trouble. This betacarotene I've been taking for a few years now, and it really helps with keeping my tan longer. I use it mostly because I usually get a sunburn so easily, and this helps prevent it. Love these hand sheet masks, they are genious! I have extremely dry hands, which especially bothers me when I'm self tanning. So I like to use these before I'm tanning, that way it looks so good and natural. This one I've had forever, I never thought I would finish this. It's a good powder, but it wasn't matte enough for me to use in my T-sone so I only used this on the premises of my face. Gives me so much volume and length, without clumping. How can anyone do their makeup without this? This just melts everything together and makes my makeup last all day. Always need to have this, and I've already bought a backup. This brow pencil I quite enjoyed actually. It was a little bit to hard sometimes, so I felt like I had to push a little hard to get some color payoff, but other than that I really liked it. My all time favorite brow gel! This is seriously the only one that can keep my brow hairs in place all day, I love it! In my skincare empties there is a wide variety of brands and products, and I've almost used up one product for every step in my skincare routine, in addition to a couple of mask. They have, as most of you know, my all time favorite body products, but this month it was a few more than usual. When it comes to the makeup I've used up there is actually way more than usual. I've actually used up two foundations, two mascaras and two brow pencils! I must say tho that all of these have been open for much longer than one month, they just happened to run out all on the same time. This is the best cleansing oil I've tried so far. It removes absolutely every last bit of my makeup without stinging my eyes, and it's so easy to rinse of. It keeps my oils under control and helps prevent breakouts, without been to drying. Enjoyed this serum, it has this light gel texture so it absorbs really quickly. Gave my skin a good amount of moisture, but not my favorite serum. I'll might buy this again. I really liked this scrub, a good amount of grains, but unfortunately I can't stand the scent of this, so I will not repurchase. This used to be one of my all time favorite clay masks. It has this mousse like texture that glides so easily on the skin without drying it out, and it smells so good. The only downside is that Ole Henriksen discontinued this so I can't get it anymore.. This one I wrote a full review on, so I'll link it. My favorite body lotion, of course! You know I love Korres body products. This is so lightweight and absorbs really quickly, and it gives me just the right amount of moisture. Will always buy the Korres bodymilks. The only shower gels I use. Use one up every month, I just switch up the scents. Makes me feel so fresh and clean. Will always love these, can't be without them, I use it several times a week. Didn't like the scent, and I didn't think that the product did enough for me. I like these instant nail polish removers, but the only problem is that I use mostly black nail polish so the sponge get so dirty and then stain my fingers. When I use it with a flattop kabuki brush it actually gives a medium to full coverage. The only problem I had with this is that it is so hard to get of your lid if you spill any. Just the right texture that fills in my brows so beautifully without looking too unnatural. The cheapest and best powder to keep my skin matte all dat. It works so well with my skin, gives me a natural glow without getting oily, and it stays put all day. It is the only primer I've found that controls my oils all day and keeps my makeup in place. I of course had already bought a backup of this. It gave me a lot of volume and length, it also separated my lashes and held up all day. It has the perfect color for my skin tone and it blends so well with my other products. Of course I think it works very well, but I think its a little bit expensive for what it is. I could just use a regular bar soap and get the same results. The first product I knew had to be expired was the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation. This was one of the first foundations I ever bought, and it was before I started using full coverage makeup, so I knew that it was expired just by thinking about how long it is since I opened it. But I seriously wasn't prepared for what the app was going to say: the foundation was made in 2010! Which means that the foundation expired already back in 2013. I almost fell of my chair when I saw this, I couldn't believe I've had it for that long. The next product I knew was old in my collection was the L'Oreal True Match, firstly because it's in the old packaging, and secondly because it's in the lightest color, which means that I haven't been using this since I began using self tanner. So when I entered the batch code in the Beauty Keeper app I was surprised that it wasn't as old as I thought, but still it was made in 2015, and it has a life span of 36 months, which means that it is expired even if I hadn't opened it, but I probably opened it the same year that it was made, so it most definitely is expired either way. A few years ago when I really started getting in to makeup, my mom was obsessed with Oriflame, and their products. So when I started to show some interest in makeup my mom ordered me all kinds of stuff, and now when I went through my collection I realized that I still had some of the Oriflame products. I knew these had to be old because my mom stopped buying Oriflame products over two years ago. The first one of the Oriflame products I found was the Matte Velvet foundation, and I believe this was one of the first makeup prroducts I ever got. It is even in the lightest shade so it is from before I started using self tan. When I checked the batch code on the Beauty Keeper app my chin fell to my knees, it expired in 2013!! I know I haven't used it in a few years, but I know I've used it after 2013. I was so disgusted when I realized how old it was, so obviously it went straight in the bin! But I was almost as shocked when I checked the life time of this one, it expired back in 2014.. I can't believe I've hold on to these for that long! And the worst of it all is that I think I actually used this last summer.. The last product from Oriflame that I found in my collection was this old Cucumber face mist, and I couldn't even remember that I had this, so I predicted that it would have to be quite old, and so it was. It also expired in 2014, and when I opened it up to smell it I could definitely tell that it was old, it smelled so bad! Since I didn't remember that I even had this, and since it is almost full I would assume that I didn't like it that much when I first got it, so I just shoved it to the back of one of my drawers, and there it stayed for the past four years. I thought that when I first did this declutter I would do my whole collection, so next I moved on to concealers and primers. There were definitely some products that I totally had forgotten about and that had to be expired, and it definitely was. In my concealer drawer I first found this BareMinerals Well-Rested concealer, and if I'm not mistaken these are taken out of production so you can only imagine how old this is. I tried looking up the batch code but I couldn't find BareMinerals on any of the websites. But still, this one I bought the first time I went to the states and that was in 2014, so I know for a fact that this is definitely expired. In my concealer drawer I also found another Oriflame product, this color correction wheel, or what it's called. This one I remember I got from my mom when I started to worry about my red cheeks and my dark under eye circles, and she didn't want me to begin using foundation quite yet, so she gave me this one instead. I must say, I probably looked sick using only this and nothing else. This one is actually so old that the batch code has rubbed of, so I can't check exactly how old it is, but I know for a fact that its over 5 years old. The last concealer I found that I knew had to be quite old was this Clinique one. I remember buying this one, one of the first high end products I bought, and I asked the lady behind the counter for a full coverage under eye concealer, and I got home and tried it on, and I immediately hated it, it is so thick, and impossible to blend out, and it creases so bad! Unfortunately we can't return used makeup here in Norway, so it just stayed in my drawer for all these years, I don't think I've even touched it since that one time. This is a few years ago now, and since I'm going to get rid of it anyway I decided to throw it in this post. The concealer only expired last month, but still, bye! When it comes to primer I don't have that many, I've either given the ones I didn't like away or I've sold them. These two I did enjoy back in the day when I used to use them, but I found other products that I enjoyed more and these were simply forgotten. So when I checked the batch code my assumptions were right, this already expired back in 2015. The Make Up For Ever one wasn't quite as old, it only expired in September 2017. But I haven't used it in forever since I fell in love with the mattifying primer from Make Up For Ever instead. The last category I decided to look in was my powder products. Powder products usually last longer that liquids and creams, but I knew I had some products in there that were quite old. The first product I found that I knew had to be almost ancient was the Priori mineral foundation powder. This one I couldn't find on any of the websites, but know it is expired a long time ago. I got this from my mom probably five years ago, after she had had it for a while, but she didn't like it so she gave it to me. I didn't use it much either because it was waaay to dark for my fair skin, so it hasn't been used since I got it, but now it's time to get rid of it, it just lays in my drawer and collects dust. The two other powder products that without a doubt was expired was these two elf products. These products was some of the products I ordered the first time I ordered something online many, many years ago. So I had to laugh a little when I found out I still had these, and that these are some of the products that started my makeup obsession. When I checked the production date of the elf blush it was made in January 2013, which means that it expired over two years ago, and I used it probably a couple of months ago.. The eye shadow wasn't that old actually, it only expired in November 2017. But still, I hardly ever use these, and there is no reason to hold on to them, especially when they are expired. This one I got in my LookFantastic advent calendar. It is a face scrub with a lot of grains, and it ha this kind of minty feeling on the skin. I couldn't really decide what I thought about it, but I guess it was ok. This concealer is a staple in my makeup routine, I always use it either under my eyes or on blemishes. It covers so well without being to heavy. This one I bought last summer, but I didn't open it until October or something. It is a nice moisturizer, it hydrates my skin without being too heavy for my oily complexion. I really enjoyed the scent of this, but after a while it became a little too much. Love this brow pencil, it is definetly on eof my favorites. It has the perfect consistency. It stays put on my brows all day, and the color taupe is a perfect match for me. This foundation is one of my all time favorites, it looks so amazing on my skin! It is full coverage, without being heavy or getting cakey. It also last all day without breaking up. My absolute favorite at the moment. It gives my lashes a good amount of both volume and length, without clumping. Love all of these dry shampoos, can't be without them, use dry shampoo every week, so the Batiste ones are perfect for my student budget. This one I also got in my LookFantastic advent calendar. It actually surprised me, I didn't think I would like it, but it was amazing. It gave my under eyes so much hydration and the texture of it was perfect. I would actually consider buying this. What can I say about this? I use it every single day, the perfect mattifying powder. Another sample I got in the LookFantastic advent calendar. This one I also enjoyed a lot. It actually reminded me of the L'oreal Paradise mascara, both the wand and the formula. Gave me a lot of volume and length. It is the perfect face scrub. It makes my skin feel so clean and smooth. These makeup remover cloths I really do enjoy, they remove my makeup and doesn't make my skin feel dry or irritated. I usually use these for those days when I'm too lazy to wash of my makeup properly. I absolutely love it, it works so well with my skin. I'll link the post where I wrote about it, if you want to read more in depth. This one I kind of liked, but I didn't think that there were enough grains in it, it didn't scrub my scalp good enough I think. So I just used it up to use it up. The last one of the products I've used up these past couple of months, this one I also got in my LookFantastic advent calendar. This is a natural micellar water, and it was alright. I didn't actually love it because I thought the smell of it was a little strong, and it stinged my eyes. I left the mask on for about 20 minutes, and when I removed it the mask was still quite wet, so I definitely could have had it on for longer. My skin looked and felt really nice after the mask, it made my skin tone so even I have really red cheeks normally , and gave me such a nice glow. Of course I wouldn't see any big long term changes by only using it once, but i enjoyed it, and I would definitely repurchase. It's been so long since I've used this serum now, and I had totally forgotten how much I love it. I saw a change in my skin after using it for just a couple of days. My skin cleared up a lot, and my complexion became so much more bright. It is quite expensive tho, but I use so little of it, only one pump for my hole face. I think most of you have heard of this highlighter by now, and I must agree with every other influencer, this is amazing! And I can't believe this is so cheap, it works just like my more high end highlighters. This perfume I got from my parents for Christmas and I am in love! It just smells so good, it has this sensual but sweet scent, and it makes me feel so beautiful and confident. In the past I have been switching my night cream almost every time I needed a new one, but now I think I've found a favorite. This night cream is so creamy and hydrating, and I feel like it just protects and takes care of my skin during the night. Since I've been using this my skin has behaved so well, and I haven't had any dry patches. I can't believe I haven't tried this bronzer out before! I mean I've heard so many good things about it, but I just thought like how good can a bronzer bee, but it really is amazing! It gives the skin this beautiful glow without being shimmery og glittery. The bronzer just blends so well into the skin and makes my skin look so healthy.
